Trophy Mom taco recipe is so flavorful! Seasoned beef topped with Pico de Gallo, sour cream, lettuce and cheese inside of a yummy fried corn tortilla!
Trophy Mom Taco Recipe
1 lb beef/turkey
1 Green pepper diced
1 Small yellow onion diced
1 Jalapeños diced
3 garlic cloves minced
Chi chi taco seasoning (green pack)
1 cup water
Adobo seasoning (red top)
1 tbsp oil
Add ground meat to a large skillet on medium high heat.
Brown meat until no longer pink then drain.
In same pan add 1 tbsp of oil and and in all veggies except garlic for 5-7 mins
Add in garlic. Sauté addtional 1 min
Add cooked meat back to pan and mix to combine with veggies
Add in 1 cup water
Add in packet of seasoning (I always use two packs but try one first and taste to see if u want another) ** If you’re using a different brand of seasoning just use one packet**
Season with a little adobo and cumin.
Mix well and taste for seasoning adjustments
Cover and let simmer on low u til ready to eat.
