Swedish Meatballs
These meatballs are sure to be a family favorite! Nothing like a good comfort meal for the fall season!

I love good meatball smothered in a delicious sauce/gravy. These meatballs bring a different taste to the table that everyone is going to love! They are super easy to make and Freeze well!
Try them on top of my Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes!
Swedish Meatballs Recipe
Ingredients
Meatballs
1LB Beef/Turkey
1/4 Cup Plain Breadcrumbs
1/4 Cup Milk
1 TBSP Dried Parsley
1 TSP Garlic Powder
1 TSP Pepper
1 TSP Salt
1/4 TSP Allspice
1/4 TSP Nutmeg
1 egg
Swedish Sauce
4 TBSP Butter
3 TBSP Flour
1 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
1 TSP Dijon Mustard
2 Cups Beef Broth
1 Cup Heavy Cream
1 small onion (minced)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350.
Mince onion and set aside.
Add ground meat and all ingredients to large bowl.
Mix until well combined.
Roll into desired size balls and place on baking sheet.
Bake meatballs for 20 mins (depending on size - check center for doneness)
Set aside when done.
Swedish Sauce
In large pan, melt 4tbsp butter.
Add minced onions and sauté 1-2 mins.
Whisk in flour, 1 TBSP at a time.
Whisk flour until well combined with butter. (May be slightly lumpy)
Slowly whisk in heavy cream. Then beef broth.
Add in Worcestershire sauce and Dijon Mustard.
Taste sauce for any adjustments. (Add salt & pepper to taste)
Add meatballs to pan.
Bring sauce to a low boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered 3-5 mins.
Garnish with Fresh Parsley.
Add them on top of my Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes!
