Parmesan Crusted Steak

Steak is always a perfect choice when it comes to romantic dinners. But this parmesan crust topping just takes it to a whole different level. It’s super easy to make but will also really impress bae! You may not want steak without it after trying this!
Parmesan Crusted Steak Recipe

Ingredients
2 steak cuts of choice
Fresh Thyme
3 garlic cloves
Oil and butter for searing
Parmesan Crust Topping
1 stick butter softened
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
1/4 cup mayo
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions
Preparing Parmesan Crust Topping
Add all ingredients to mixing bowl
Gently toss together until well combined. Do not mix.
Set aside.
Preparing Steak
Preheat cast iron skillet on medium-high heat
Add 2 tbsp butter and oil to skillet
Make sure Steak is at room temp then season with salt and pepper.
Once oil is very hot, add steaks to pan.
Lay steaks away from you in skillet. Press down to ensure a good crust forms.
Sear on each side 3-4 mins
Reduce heat to medium and add additional butter, garlic and fresh herbs into pan.
Tilt pan and toss butter onto steak for about 1 minute.
A meat thermometer is helpful to get the right doneness.
Let steak sit about 5 mins.
Spread parmesan crust evenly across steak
Place in oven and broil until crust is golden brown.
