Just looking at this picture, I’m reminded of how GOOD this bowl was. I mean it was GOODT emphasis on the T! There’s nothing more I can say about this bowl besides TRY IT!

If you want to save time, Tyson Popcorn Chicken can be used in place of frying the chicken!
Frozen or canned corn works perfectly!
Packet gravy can be substituted for making gravy.
Adjust the amount of chicken you‘ll need according to your family size
KFC Inspired “Famous Bowl” Recipe
4-6 Chicken Tenderloins (cut into bite sized pieces)
2 cups flour
1 tbsp milk
Splash of hot sauce (splash as much as you’d like)
Season to taste (seasoned salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper)
2 cups beef broth
2 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
1 tsp Low-Sodium Soy sauce
1 tsp Browning
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste (IF NEEDED)
3lbs (4-5) russet or yukon gold potatoes
1 cup heavy whipping cream (room temp)
1 stick of butter (room temp)
4 garlic cloves minced or whole
Salt and pepper to taste
Dry Parsley (optional)
1 cup shredded cheese
Frozen or canned corn
Cook corn according to package directions.
Preparing Mashed Potatoes
Peel potatoes and cut into fourths.
Add them to a cold pot of water. Then bring to a boil. (You can sub chicken broth for water if you‘d like)
While the potatoes are boiling, add the cream, butter and garlic to a small saucepan over low heat. Gradually letting it warm up.
Drain the potatoes and leave them in the pot. Make sure heat is off.
Slowly pour the cream mixture into the potatoes (a little bit at a time)
Mash the potatoes with a potato masher until they are nice and smooth. (No lumps)
Slowly whisk in more of the cream mixture until a creamy smooth consistency is formed. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Drizzle with extra melted butter and sprinkle with parsley!
Add butter to pan over medium heat.
Once melted, whisk in flour.
Whisk until flour has been cooked through. (Well combined with butter)
Slowly whisk in beef broth. Whisk continuously to prevent lumps.
Whisk in browning. Browning adds flavor and color.
Whisk in soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
Taste for adjustments. Add salt and pepper if needed.
Preheat frying oil.
Add flour to a bowl and season generously.
Add eggs, milk and hot sauce to a bowl and whisk until well combined.
Cut chicken into bite sized pieces.
For crispy chicken, add chicken to flour, then coat with egg then back to flour. Gently pressing flour into chicken.
Let chicken rest about 2 mins before adding to oil.
Add to oil and fry until golden.
Add mashed potatoes, then top with corn, chicken, gravy and cheese
