Delicious rice loaded with seasoned meat, peppers, celery and simmered in a flavorful Sauce!
If you’ve never had dirty rice, I’m telling you now, you’re going to be addicted! This rice is packed with so much flavor and so easy to make! Just follow the steps exactly and it should turn out perfectly, even for those who can’t make a pot of rice to save the day lol you’re going to pull this off!

Try it with cajun seasoning to make it spicy!
Instead of ground beef you could also substitute with sausage!
Its important to NOT touch the lid while the rice is simmering!
If rice is still hard, add more broth and simmer additional 10 mins.
Dirty Rice Recipe
1LB Ground Beef/Turkey/Sausage
2 1/2 Cups Chicken Broth
1 1/4 Cup Jasmine Rice
1 Tbsp Butter
2 Tsp Browning
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 Tsp Onion Powder
2 stalks Celery minced
1 small Onion minced
1/4 of a Red Pepper Minced
1/4 of a Yellow Pepper Minced
3 Cloves Garlic Minced
Brown Meat in pot. Then Drain.
In same pot, Add 1 Tbsp Butter.
Add in onions, celery, red and yellow peppers.
Sautés 5-7 mins On medium heat.
Add in garlic and sauté 1 additional minute.
Pour in Chicken Broth.
Add in browning and seasonings.
Add hot sauce to your liking.
Bring to low boil. Then reduce heat to low.
Taste sauce and adjust as needed.
Once sauce is to your liking, pour in rice.
Add ground meat back to pot and mix.
Cover and simmer on low for 20 mins without removing lid.
