Delicious fried chicken breasts simmered in a creamy garlic sauce served over spinach and mashed potatoes.
Creamy Garlic Chicken
This easy weeknight dinner is perfect to start out the fall season. There is so much flavor in this easy 30 minute meal! The chicken is juicy and seasoned to perfection and the delicious garlic sauce and spinach pair perfectly with my Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes !
Creamy Garlic Chicken Recipe
2 chicken breasts
1 cup flour
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp butter
1 small onion (minced)
10 garlic cloves
1 Cup Chicken broth
1 1/4 Cup Heavy Cream
1/2 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Parsley for garnish (optional)
Slice chicken breasts in half to create 4 fillets.
Season chicken generously with seasonings.
In a shallow bowl, combine flour, chicken seasonings and parmesan cheese.
Dredge chicken fillets in flour mixture and set aside.
In a large skillet, over medium heat, melt butter and 2 tbsp olive oil.
Add chicken to pan and fry until golden and fully cooked through.
When Done, remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
In same pan, add a little 1sp olive oil then add in onions.
Sauté about 3-5 minutes.
Then add in spinach and cook until wilted.
While spinach is cooking, smash garlic cloves with back of knife then add to pan And sauté an additional 2-3 minutes.
Pour in heavy cream, chicken broth, and bring sauce to a low simmer for about 3 minutes.
Reduce heat to low, Add in parmesan cheese and mix until melted.
Add spinach to sauce.
Return chicken to pan and garnish with parsley.
Serve over my Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes!
